Church Plant and Outreach Worker for Immigrant Community in Brussels
- Long term
- 5 years or more
We are looking for people to join us in reaching out to immigrant communities in Belgium.
Current missionaries are involved in a church located in the Laeken area of northern Brussels, in a strongly immigrant area. About 70 people currently come to services that are conducted in French and Arabic. Besides urban evangelism in Brussels, the church has a vision to see further immigrant focussed church plants develop in Aalst (to the west of Brussels) and in Antwerp (to the north). You would be involved in evangelism and church planting.
You have the abilities to work as a pioneer. You have completed a suitable theological education and can work in trans-cultural teams. You have a multicultural and open mindset, which enables you to relate with a great variety of people. You speak Dutch, French and English or are willing to learn to speak the language. The ability to speak Arabic or Turkish is an advantage. You are an active member of your church.
