Supporter Relations Assistant (21h / week)
- Office staff
- Moulton Park Business Centre, Northampton
- 2-5 years, 5 years or more
Exciting opportunity in ECM Britain's Northampton office.
Have you wondered how you could use your administrative and organisational skills in a mission context? ECM Britain is a small team looking after the financial and wellbeing needs of our mission partners throughout Europe. We also mobilise churches and Christians in Britain to help build a different Europe through prayer and financial support.
We are looking for a new Supporter Relations Assistant for 21 hours a week (to be worked over 3/4 days per week, to be negotiated). The salary is £20,643.07 p.a. pro rata i.e. £12,385.84 p.a. for 21 hours per week. The role will be based at our office in Moulton Park Business Centre, Northampton, although there may be flexibility for some home-working.
You will be responsible for ensuring that communication with our supporters regarding finance and prayer is of the highest standard. This is therefore a key role in the office team as you are our ‘public face’. You will act as receptionist for the office but, crucially, you will correspond with individual supporters concerning their donations and be responsible for recording communications and maintaining the office database.
You will need excellent administration and communication skills. An ability to be organised, with good interpersonal skills is also important and database experience would be preferred. Previous experience in a charity is desirable but not essential.
There is an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the person appointed will have an active Christian faith, in agreement with ECM’s Statement of Faith, as you will be representing ECM and our Christian ethos whilst liaising with supporters and sending churches of our missionaries.
