Description
The area of Castellón on the east coast of Spain, attracts many labourers, especially from South America. Looking for purpose in life and a community, many of them find connection with evangelical churches. With support from ECM-workers, a church has been planted in Onda and several church planting initiatives have started in neighbouring cities/towns. The possibilities for new church planting projects in the surrounding rural area are currently being researched, with a focus on smaller towns like Betxi, Ribesalbes, Lucena, Figueroles. For these projects, we are looking for people to pioneer a new church plant and who also have qualities in the area of personal evangelism, discipleship, children’s and youth work. You're willing to help with various yearly (summer) activities. You will do this in close partnership with existing churches (already established) in order to promote their evangelism outreach activities.

You have the abilities to work as a pioneer. You have completed a suitable theological education. You have experience in organising activities and in youth/children's work. You have the patience and gifting to involve others in your work. You speak Spanish or you are willing to learn the language. The ability to speak the Valencian dialect is an advantage. You are an active member of your church.

Unless otherwise stated, the opportunities offered by ECM are not paid jobs. Successful candidates will be required to raise personal support for their ministry, living and other (e.g. insurance, pension) costs.
