Kingdom-extender and Disciple-maker in the Valencian Community
- Type:
- Long term
- Location:
- Castellón province, eastern Spain
- Duration:
- 2-5 years, 5 years or more
The Castellón area, located on the east coast of Spain, has attracted many foreign workers, especially from South America and Romania. While there are some evangelical churches in the region, much remains to be done to share the gospel with people outside the larger cities (and even within them). ECM workers collaborate with, among others, the "Església Evangèlica Bona Nova d'Onda" to reach villages without an evangelical church.
We are looking for pioneering individuals with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build friendships, evangelize, and make disciples. Team members would work with existing Spanish evangelical churches, though possibly in new ways.
Your missionary work could be combined with paid employment outside of ECM if you are able to find independent work (bi-vocational work).
Qualifications and Experience: You have the capacity to work as a pioneer. You have completed appropriate theological training and can work in cross-cultural teams. You have a multicultural and open mindset, which allows you to connect with a wide variety of people. You have the patience and the gift of engaging others in your work. You speak Spanish or are willing to learn it. You are an active member of your church and have experience discipling people.
