The Buen Samaritano Centre (or Good Samaritan Therpeutic Centre) is situated near Pozoblanco, in the Córdoba province of Spain.  Dedicated for 27 years to the rehabilitation of addicts, the centre is in the process of redefining its approach to other groups.  As a first step in the formation of a team, we are looking for a 'core' couple.

Description
We are looking for a volunteer couple who want to serve the Lord in a practical way in the therapeutic centre.  You should be mature Christians, with a burden for people with difficulties and who like to live in the countryside.  You must be self-funded.

Between the couple, you would need to fulfill the following requirements and share in the responsibilities 

• Knowledge in horticulture and greenhouse cultivation; it would be very good to also have knowledge about olive trees.
• Basic maintenance knowledge (plumbing, electricity, painting, etc.).
• Driving license (both of them)
• In case of not being native Spanish speakers, intermediate level of Spanish (B2).
• Cooking for groups, organise the house as a whole (cleaning, tidying, gardening, etc.).
• Able to prepare menus and do the shopping

Conditions

• Private room (with own toilets) on site.
• Some basic food is provided, including homegrown products from the centre
• Use of the centre’s vehicles with prior permission
• One day off in addition to Sunday
• Willing to join Pozoblanco’s church as their local church
• Integration into the life and church's ministry team
