Ferrybank Christian Community Church, on the edge of Waterford City, has been reaching into the local community with hope, creativity and love, since 2010.  We are a Christian Church, who are centred on Jesus as we find him in the bible, and seeking to grow in our love for him and for others.

We are a growing church, who are currently seeking people to join our church planting team, as we seek to build up the church as a team on mission in our community. As a church, we value:

Creative and relevant bible teaching. This is at the heart of all we do, as we seek to grow in faith and be equipped as disciples to live for Jesus in our ordinary everyday.

Welcoming and warm relationships.  In a culture which places a high value on relationships, we seek to show the welcome extended to all in the gospel of Jesus.

Unity in diversity.  We come from a mix of different ages, backgrounds, nationalities and extend a warm welcome to all into a family like group where there is encouragement and support for one another.

Children and youth are an important part of our church family and we seek to teach them the bible in creative and fun ways that they can understand.

Serving our community.  We seek to show our faith in our ordinary, everyday lives by loving and serving others in our community.  We also seeking to develop regular ministries to engage in social action and love our neighbour well.

Collaboration with other churches.  We actively seek to build relationships, offer support and strengthen the work of other churches and Christians, as we work together for the gospel in Waterford and the surrounding area.

Currently team members, Colin and Ally Holmes, are involved in equipping and encouraging the church family to grow in love for Christ and others in the community- by communicating and connecting for the gospel through preaching and teaching, pastoral care, leadership development, empowering and encouraging women and kids work.

They also seek to share our lives and the gospel by drawing alongside others and through reaching out to families, children and youth in the community, as we seek to walk with others towards Jesus.
