Sharing love in so many ways! (part 2 of 2)

We are hearing from our workers all the time about the ways in which they are showing God’s love to those around them. Here are a few short excerpts from their update letters.
Last week we had our church plant’s first ever weekend away! Pedro gave the talks, and Ana prepared a prayer time centred in Colossians, as well as a Bible study session. It was a rich time of fellowship, prayer, and feeding on God’s Word.

We have been accepted to be the pastoral couple of a church in Saint Brieuc. The church has around 95 members and has been growing in recent years. Jack will mostly focus on preaching, training preachers and leading the church councils, whilst Sarah will focus more on youth, ecumenical relations and some preaching/teaching.

As Lithuanians, we are famous for our summer pink soup festival at the end of May. We invited our neighbours and friends from around to taste the soup and meet Shalom House folk. We had over 30 people, and what a feast it was! We had some good conversations about faith.

We had our Spiritual Transformation Retreat in English with people flying in from Norway and the Netherlands to attend. It was an amazing privilege to see God move in the lives of these people and we all left the week transformed in one way or another.
