If God has put Muslim-based ministry on your heart, then you could have plenty of opportunities on our doorstep in Berlin.

ECM is looking for a trained preacher/pastor for church based ministry in Wedding, Berlin. The role focuses on single mothers, children’s ministry and outreach to Muslims. The position ideally is long term but could accommodate short term workers beginning at 6 months. Long term workers (single or married) will be required to undertake German language study.

During the largest refugee crisis in recent years, Germany displayed its humanitarian heart by opening its doors to roughly one million asylum seekers. As a result, there is now a large migrant population, and this new multicultural community brings both challenges and opportunities for the spread of the gospel.

Wedding is a very high migrant neighbourhood with very few active churches. We would love to see the local church reflecting its neighbourhood.

Do you have a passion for single mums and kids? Berlin has a very high level of single parent families. Kids ministry is really important when parents are on their own. Come and help us develop a vibrant children's ministry - serving both children and parents!

While 64% of Germans claim to be Christians, only 14% of the population actually attend church, and only about 2% claim Jesus as Saviour. While many churches have shut down, Germany is seeing a growth in house churches, grassroot prayer movements, and evangelical initiatives seeking to reach the spiritually lost.
